Why is a blog the best thing I can do for my business

When people think about blogging they don't usually associate it with increasing their website's Google Search Rating, but in fact, it may be the single best tactic in improving a site's Google search ranking. In fact, a well researched and well written blog can do multiple things to increase traffic and potentially sales or conversions.

Ok, so blogging turns out to be the cornerstone for increasing site traffic and moving up in the Google rankings, what else do I need to know?

Provide RELEVANT, HIGH-QUALITY information in an easy to read format. It's not about fancy blog graphics, overly dramatic photos, what you put in the background, or the font you use. The reader is not there for that. The reader IS there to intake information on the subject they are seeking out. The more lights and sirens getting in the way of your HIGH-QUALITY content, the more your site visitor has to fight to get the answer to their question. Which can mean the quicker your reader becomes frustrated and the sooner they bounce from your site, thus reducing your site's statistics, sales or conversions. That last paragraph probably should have sold you but because I was relentless in my research in an attempt to increase my site traffic, I have more..

Consistent, high-quality blogging is a long-term content strategy. Think about it: You do monotonous research in a specific topic and you take the time (oh so much time..) to write up a clear and concise blog post. You continue doing this and you start to actually increase traffic to your blog and website. You then see the results and spend as many hours as you can to produce top-notch content for your blog. More and more people begin to view your recent blog post. This is where the money is. THIS is how you build your brand. You produce value to people searching out information on that topic. Someone has a question, it's you're job to answer it in the best way you possibly can. Great news!

So I will pretty much leave it there. What I will say is the research is extremely crucial. The majority of time should, in my opinion, be spent researching every aspect of a potential question. You haven't done enough research until your topical research starts to produce the same answers that you have taken vigorous notes of.
