That's Billion with a B. In fact, 50% of the people in the US use voice search daily with one-third of the US using voice search at least once weekly. Globally, 25% of the population use voice on their mobile. Truly amazing numbers showing the importance of voice search in 2023 and beyond.

Ok, so how can my business take advantage of voice search traffic?

Since people are usually asking their mobile voice assistants questions, the key is to is to have some text on your site matches the query with an answer. One idea I may try on my own site is adding an FAQ somewhere under the fold of the first page and input relevant questions currently being searched.

• Use long-tailed keywords in order to capture the nature of the text humans include in Google voice searches.

• Answer questions that are LOCAL to your area to boost your local search results

• Update consistently. Do what your competition isn't and always keep your topics relevant and update often with current trends.

The voice search numbers are simply astonishing and it's a user-stream that cannot just go ignored in 2023 and beyond.
